DAT Optic Inc.'s qBOX-SF is one of the latest series of FOUR SATA drive to 1394a/b/USB2.0 metal enclosure, which offers dual bridge boards let end user the flexibility of program four SATA into mix of JBOD, RAID 0 and RAID 1 mode, the only ONE in the market.
The qBOX-SF has built-in Dual (2) high-performance FireWire 800 (1394b)/USB bridge board to SATA drives with 1394 payload of 4096 instead of 2048, and support 48-bit sector addressing (138GB+ HDD). With such specifications there are no HDD size restriction limitations.
Any FOUR SATA 3.5" HDD (no size limitation) devices can be easily, quickly and reliably converted
to plug-and-play high speed FireWire 800/1394b/USB2.0 with RAID0/1 or JBOD.
